I have often wondered why AANC, TNS, INA, et al. do not cooperate and funded a university referenced paired study about the effects of family nudism and teen age body image problems and other teen problems. Such a study would ease some of the notions and fears that textiles have about us. I do see a difficulty of getting a large enough sample of naturist-children/teens to cooperate over a multi-year study, getting textiles children/teens would also be difficult. Questions that might be hypothesized: (Suspect but do not have data to prove or buttress.) 1. Teen age eating disorders are lesser for nudist children. 2. Age of sexual activity is equal across groups. (Age of first activity, number of partners, etc are equal.) 3. Family coherence is stronger in Naturist families. 4. Naturist girls and teenagers are better adjusted emotionally in sexual situation. What do others think? |
